The story
My journey into paper cutting began quite unexpectedly. A friend handed me an X-Acto knife, and I didn’t think twice before giving it a try. I had never cut paper before, but I discovered Sanchi art online and kept experimenting until the knife felt as natural in my hand as a pen.
Over the years, I have explored different art forms, including quilling, origami and cold porcelain, but paper cutting has become a special part of my creative journey. I combine it with quilling and layering to create intricate portraits and nature-inspired artworks. Most of my work is commissioned, which I love because every piece carries someone’s story. I’ve also been conducting workshops for several years, and there’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone make their first clean cut and discover the joy of creating with paper.
