Clay0:32The story
My journey with polymer clay began while I was living in Israel, where I discovered the medium as a creative outlet during a period when visa restrictions limited my opportunities to work. What started as a personal passion for art gradually transformed into a professional career after I returned to India.
In the beginning, finding quality materials was difficult and expensive, so I focused on creating small pieces like jewellery and miniature sculptures. Many of my early creations were made as gifts for family and friends before I eventually turned my passion into a commercial venture.
Today, I work from my own dedicated studio, where I continue to refine my craft. Over the years, my work has evolved from simple nature-inspired themes to intricate traditional Indian motifs, expressive facial details, and elaborate floral arrangements. Running a single-handed creative business means I manage everything myself—from sourcing materials and designing each piece to customising orders for clients. It requires patience, consistency, and attention to detail every single day, and I remain deeply committed to the craftsmanship that has helped me build my place in the artisan community.
